My world
I enter a portal as a whole new person
Different things run my way
Don’t care what the audience says
It’s my character
Not me
Not my name
Not my parents
Not my style
Not my life
nowhere near it
An dream
Made-up fantasy
Stage to express myself
A show
Ephemeral
I can’t stay
I must leave
My costume waves goodbye

I like the end when you provide the visual of your costume waving good bye. It is wonderful to give yourself over to theater and become someone else...just for a bit. Keep up the great writing.
