Music: Poem
Every tap on the piano,
A musical sound is heard.
The keys are chiming,
Waiting to be remembered.
Practice is hard and tough,
But through all the work,
A pleasant hum is generated,
For the audience and myself to enjoy.
The hum is quite pleasant,
Lovely you may think.
But when you hear music,
Remember that,
The player always wants the people to enjoy,
What she herself has loved,
And wished to spread the delight.
So keep in mind,
Please shush the people behind you,
That are making quite a clatter,
And pay close attention to the stories that enfold,
From the music,
From the piano.
