For all we know
Entropy means death
in the real world.
Organization is naught
when breathing and pumping
stops.
What was once a room
with beautiful tubes,
stomachs, and engines
now lies in chaos.
Its brain tries to respirate
but loses form as well.
We went so far down
because we smelled;
now for tradition.
Not everything in our world
is as well fed as us.
Whens end,
nevers begin.
Yet still scared
of the unknown.
No one can give a reason why.
Perhaps,
it is the looming simplicity.
For all we know...

When people read this, I don't want them to think I'm morbid. The reaction I want is a deeper onlook of human thought and understanding. Though it is important to be knowledgeable about things, it is even more important to make sense of things like death for ourselves.
