Staring at you
Eyes still
Grazed with tears
Never falling

Staring at you
Lips still
Not moving with your usual chatter
Scared to open you mouth, open your heart
A broken lip leading to a broken heart

Staring at you
Eyelashes beating
Holding back your emotions
Through a barrier of flirts and giggles
It's even hard for me, your life and soul, to see through your forest of lies

Staring at you
Seeing our past flash by when you turn your head
Your golden bangs that has been the object of so many of my jokes
I miss the old you

Staring at you
Wishing you would be the friend I was always to you
Waiting for you to snap out of your state…. Still waiting 3 months later
I waited all summer for you to realized what we have
So apparently your not different

Whoa. This is EXACTLY where I'm at right now. It fits perfectly. Your word choice is amazing and the flow is really good too. Amazing job. Keep writing!
