My Blanket
an infection
Death so near yet so far away
A single push could push me off the edtge
Demon after demon beating battle after battle
I go back home from analogies
Sitting on my bed blasting my iPod
I hide from the silence
I try to find the happiness
But it's hidden where I can't find it
If this life were a blanket
It would be frayed with love
Damaged with anger and sadness
And hidden in the crevices
There is happiness
But it is not a blanket
All anyone can see is happiness
All I can see is the sadness
