My Own Personal Hell
You’ve seen me in my darkest hour,
When I wanted nothing more than to die;
To feel the blood pour from my veins;
To let the eternal sleep take me under.
You’ve seen me in my grossest hour,
When I haven’t shaved in days,
My face is make-up less,
And blotchy from the endless tears.
You’ve seen me in my weakest hour,
When I can’t stop crying,
And my past has taken over,
Letting my fears drag me down.
But still you’re standing here next to me,
Picking me up,
Helping me piece myself together,
To make me whole again.
Forever, shall I be in debt to you and your love;
Never will I forget you and all you’ve done,
To help me through my darkest, grossest, and weakest hours.
