Ignorance
My skin is hard ice.
In a frozen life.
Hope, Hate, love —
They all shatter against my steeled skin.
I may as well be gone.
Cracks in my armor
Have sealed up indefinitely.
I no longer feel anything
Or care.
If a tide should sweep me up in a merciless toil,
Desert me.
If heat should lay its coiled and sizzling fingertips at my icy nape,
Incinerate me.
I don't care.
I can't care.
I won't.
