Vampire State of Mind

I don't like what I've become.
It's taking over me.
It drags me deep into the dark.
So black that I can't see.
People think I'm normal.
But what I am is wrong.
What I am is evil.
Because of that, I don't belong.
The monster inside me is angry.
For I don't give it what it needs.
It thrashes and rages in my depths,
Longing me to feed.
If only I could silence it,
Make the monster go away.
Banish it to the deep abyss.
The price no one would pay.
I don't like what I've become.
It's taking over me.
When I happen to lose control,
I forget all humanity.

For someone who isn't a "vampire" you seem to have captured the depth and feelings you would have if you were one. That's what a great writer can do! You're on your way girl, keep polishing it by writing more as often as possible. We will see your name in a published book one day, I just know it!!

This is an excellent work! Great job! Could apply to a lot more than just being a vampire... which means you were outstandingly successful with abiguity, a staple in modern art.
