Some truths best left unspoken.

How unflinching,
Is the bittter pain,
Of deep and sorrowful,
Inner shame.
It nisther forgives,
Nor dains to relax.
But holds unbending,
It's prisoner to facts.
To torment,
Slowly.
For years on end.
It knowingly,
Reminds.
It will not forget.
But dares it's victim,
To try and overcome it.

Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction. ~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Wind, Sand and Stars, 1939, translated from French by Lewis Galantière

this poem kind of confused me... i didnt exactly get its message until the very last lines. and you might want to check your spelling and grammar because there are a few typos! for your next poem i suggest clearing things up and fine tuning it!
