Ever Lost
Way up high,
When the stars go by,
I look up and try to find,
The one who's love I will bind.
I look for him, I search for him,
But, alas, I cannot find him.
He hides his face,
His beautiful grace,
His long, silver hair,
His eyes, oh so fair!
I look for him, I search for him,
But, alas, I cannot find him.
I see his smile,
The one that shows while,
He tries to decide,
Should he hide?
I look for him, I search for him,
But, alas, I cannot find him.
I close my eyes and see his lips,
With a small curve, just barely a dip,
His strong arms, wrapped around,
Too him I am bound.
I look for him, I search for him,
But, alas, I cannot find him.
I call his name, filled with pain,
Will he answer, with were he has lain?
I call again, louder this time,
Too only hear the thoughts in my mind.
I look for him, I search for him,
But, alas, I cannot find him.
My heart feels heavy, I lower my head,
Knowing that without him, I'm no better than dead.
I turn to go, and don't look back,
Knowing, just knowing that,
I looked for him, I searched for him,
But, alas, I could not find him.
