Smoke

If I crack one more joke,
I think I'll choke on my smoke.
Smoke.
Funny word.
Could mean the cigarette I'm smoking.
Or could be as in fire;
Like the one that burned my friend,
That killed him.
Smoke.
Could mean from a breakfast I Burnt.
Or could mean gunsmoke;
The stuff that came out of the guns
As the bullets flew in the air
And hit it's target.
Taking the life from my buddy.
Smoke.
I really hate that word.
