Why I Write

You ask me why I write,
And I answer with a smile.
Because I want you to know.
You ask “Know what?”
And I answer I want you to know everything.
Everything you question? That’s a lot you say.
And I answer with pages,
Ink filled pages,
And those pages hold everything.
Everything I ever cried, laughed, and dreamed about.
It’s there, its everything.
And that’s why I write,
Because I want you to know.
