Our Passion
First, we pick two captains,
and those two captains
fairly split the group
into two even teams.
Second, we grab a soccer ball,
all aired up
and ready to go.
Third, we choose the best goalie
and set him up
in the beautiful net.
Fourth, we establish
the boundaries adn the field
and make sure that we
all agree on the rules.
Who am I kidding?
Our game of soccer isn't fair.
It's full of cheating and lieing,
pushing, shoving, and sliding.
Our game of soccer isn't planned.
It just happens, comes out
of nowhere, spur of the moment.
Our game of soccer isn't organized.
It's everyone for themselves,
play on whatever team you want.
Our game of soccer is just a bunch of kids
who just want to play.
We don't care about the net, we have fences.
We don't care about teams, we're all players.
We don't care about rules, it's free style.
We don't care about boundaries, just play.
Our game of soccer is just a bunch of kids
with a passion.
A passion
for soccer.
