Blissfully Naive
"You're just a teenager,
You don't know what love is"
The words spoken burn my ears
A lie that we all know better
So what if we can't pay bills
Or know anything about raising a child
We know what it's like
To have a broken heart
Or gaze into the eyes of another
Feeling as though you belong
We may be young and a bit naive
But ignorance is bliss as they always say
Not Knowing can make us stronger
Because in the end, we learn from our mistakes
Teaching us to get back up and try again
At a little thing we call love
