My house
used to be a
War Zone
my parents
shot
bullets of words
phrases,
and
cursings
at each other
but
just like
rubber and glue
the shots
bounced off
each other
and stuck
the small
girl
hidden
in her closet
fearing for her life
My house
used to be a
War Zone
Where no one
was safe
Where no one
could hide
Where no one
wants to be
but now
the war
is nothing more
than an ugly scar
