One Chance Coming On The Let Down
Heartbeat pounding
rising to my throat
I can't breathe
so I accidently choke
I swallow my pride
and drown away the tears
and let myself know
it's not okay to be angry here
I stand to the side
and watch you hold her hand
I want to throw here in a trashcan
and beat your head in
I want you to know
I'm better than her
I want myself to know
I deserve better than you
but I can't help but see your soft michevious eyes
and know you're up to something
soft silky hair
I want to touch
a dark beat up jacket
and that shirt
makes me want to throw everything away and
run
run far from here
forget my worries
the pain
and know I want a fresh start at something new
but I won't be able to
I'll only think of you
It pains me to see her lean so close to you
you giving her a hug
I wish it was me
Don't break me
I know you see more of me than her
why do this?
I just want a chance
one small little chance
give me that
Do you know my hurt?
I only want
one chance....
