Holding hands was all we did…
But now it’s all we never do…
Once you held me up…
But now you’ve let me down…
I still love you…
But I know it’s unrequited…
The pain you’ve made me feel before…
Is nothing like what I feel now…
I once was happy…
Like a child playing ball…
But now I am not…
I am now like the night sky…
Dark, quiet, and beautiful…
Waiting silently for dawn to come…
The time when people stir…
Become alive and breathe their first breath…
The beginning of all their struggles…

I hope it was just a project for english and you didnt have to experience this first hand, but from the first line to the last, i found it to be amazing, keep it up :)
