Favorite Quote:
She seems so cool, so focused, so quiet, yet her eyes remain fixed upon the horizon. You think you know all there is to know about her immediately upon meeting her, but everything you think you know is wrong. Passion flows through her like a river of blood. She only looked away for a moment, and the mask slipped, and you fell. All your tomorrows start here. - Neil Gaiman, Fragile Things

What you get is called an ace,
When the ball was served and fell before your face.
Your coach got mad, boy, was the other team glad!
Then your team complained the referee was bad.
A spike is what you get,
When the ball was hit over the net.
The libero is who you call,
The odd one diving to save the ball.
Everyone gives the second ball to the setter,
Not the first, not the third, second is better.
Volleyball is really neat.
It'll keep you at the edge of your seat.
This poem was written to show my love for the game;
I'm sorry if you thought it was rather lame.

The author's comments:
I wrote this before a volleyball tournament, a few minutes actually. It was on my head and so I wrote it down quickly before I had to go play.
