Your mine
Your mine,
That's what i thought so many times before.
when in reality I'm yours you hold me by a chain.
so thick never will it break.
you hold my strings like a puppet.
controlling my every move.
and yet I allow it, like it's something that's always been.
connected like the sun and the earth the stars and the sky.
a gravitational pull
that allows no movement from one another.
yet still to this very day I think your mine.
a sweet melody that rhymes inside my head.
lights my heart and makes me see the truth.
lies..
that's what they say.
how can one so young and restless.
feel love for someone at all .
how can one who barely knows oneself
be able to tell so much for someone else.
So I'll remain yours
to prove to everyone else
that this chain will never break
and my strings that you control me by
are of my own free will.
and never will they be able to say
our love was of a false pretense.
