Lonely friends

Walking alone though these woods.
I feel the loneliness creeping up on me.
I look for the animals that should be skipping and eating and having fun.
None are here, none are out to see me.
As alone as life is, I am finding a partner.
Comfort in all this down time.
Comfort in my thinking, and knowing your in my life.
