Pillowcase
Remember the time we didn't fight,
Close to the time you spent the night,
You saw me dreaming and pulled me in tight,
Whispered to me "Everything will be alright",
A few months past and things got tense,
We'd argue because we're alike- we're dense,
I told you I love you the next day,
You said you knew I felt that way,
So you took my hand and made me leap,
With promises you couldn't keep,
Thank you, pillow, for catching my tears,
I know there's been many throughout the years,
One more stain added to the case,
Taking the make-up off my face
