You’ve quenched their thirst
You’ve filled their prescription
You’re now their supplier
And they can’t get enough
From this masquerade
There is no escape
But you still have hope
It’s no to late
They’re there for you
They’ll pull you through
If by the shoe
It not time yet
You’re almost there
Just a bit more and
You’re now out of there
But only by a single hair

I am not sure what exactly you are trying to get across. At first I feel as if you are lying to others and putting them in some sort of "masquerade". But then you change suddenly to where you are trapped instead of the others. Please help me understand!
