It’s been almost a year today
Almost a year since you walked away
Almost a year since you broke my heart
And you haven’t given a care from the start
Why would you leave us? Why would you go?
This is all I’m asking, all I want to know
You broke the trust I had for you
You broke my heart so it’s now like new
You still want to see us is what you always say
But how can we trust you since you walked away?
Why I used to trust you I don’t know now
Why you could just walk away and more importantly how
Why would you choose her over all of us
Why did you think you wouldn’t loose our trust
You say we broke your heart but what I want to know
Is why you think it didn’t hurt when you said you had to go


If you could just answer these simple questions
Here I’ll even give you some suggestions
Say you didn’t mean to hurt us when you had to go
Or the fact that it would break my heart is one you didn’t know
But don’t try and tell me you did it for me
Or that the real reason is one I’ll never see
Tell me the real reason of why you actually left
Cause if you want to do what’s best for all that would be the best.
