What The Future Holds
I wonder what the future holds,
Will I be rich and famous?
Or live at home as a writer,
Always off on a fox like journey
Or will I choose a simpler fate,
And go into the steady cake business,
Where I can be “Van Gough of Cakes”,
And live persuing my dreams.
Maybe I will be off like a bird,
And travel the ocean blue,
To see the great Western Wall,
And explore being a Jew.
What if my dreams collided,
And sizzled under the radar,
While I stayed at home with my kids,
And dreamed of what could have been.
But whatever the future holds,
I know that I’ll find something right,
Because everything I have hoped for,
Has been because of you.
