Humpty Dumpty
Oh what a strange egg that Humpty was,
His balance so obscure,
When sitting on that old brick wall,
“A happy ending?” I was unsure.
There must have been a plop,
As he landed on the ground,
This yolk lying on the grass,
His brain nowhere to be found!
But you may not know,
The soliders were out of glue,
So as you might have guessed,
Your story isn’t true.
So when ever you hear,
Of Humpty the egg,
Blame his death on the soliders,
That ran off with his leg.
