Sparkling
Shimmering

The happy one
Disappearing over the horizon
A grassy horizon
Usually lit by a blinding sun
Dotted with
Fluffy
Little dandelions
And graceful daffodils

But something is different
A warning sign.

I watch autumn leaves float to the cold earth
