I am Sam
As I move forward
I look back once in a while
To find a clue to where to turn
But the past means nothing
Because I walk the road alone
And I forget as I go
For I shall not turn back
Nor shall I expect good things to come of what I have come to
The never ending darkness that is the future
Is where the line is drawn of what can be changed
I cannot change who I am
But the image I produce is far less immovable
As I walk forward I must not look back for that will only distort my image
The bad things I have done may have an impact on the future
But not on me
I cannot change who I am
I can just what people think of who I am
My actions change the future but the future does not change me
I am who I am
I am Sam
