Stitiches
Keep my mouth painfully closed
When all I want
Is to scream
Push against the thread
My life has raveled on
The tailor who whispered sweet nothings
Against my scent
Shutting the door
And locking away my key
No scissors
To cut the ties against my lips
Speak, you whisper
Hand against my blind eyes
To remove the blood stained strings
No need to sleep in silence
Not tonight
Opening lips
To speak in strange tongues
Trust? You ask for,
Leaving open my bandages
To kiss and heal with air
No silence. No locked doors.
No stitches
