Okay, so I lied…
It’s been more than a bit.
But hey! That’s not a crime!
We talked a bit today,
And you helped move some stuff.
I couldn’t help but smile,
When our hands briefly touched.
Now, I won’t go all cliché on you,
And be all, “Oh! I wish I had the guts!”
Because I do have the guts...
But I just want to make sure,
That I’m not making a fool of myself,
When, and if, I ask you to hang out.
So do you see where I’m coming from?
I’m not really this shy.
I’m just waiting for the right chances.
And again, I won’t lie,
I’d love to get to know you better,
And even be your friend.
I just want to make sure,
That you and I are on the same page.
So I hope that you’ve been noticing,
