A ghost that haunts your sleep
A coldness that steals your warmth
An evil that comes as you sleep
Losing yourself
Your mind no longer telling you to wake
Waking up in fear at night, frozen
Your worst fear coming to life before you eyes
No light within your sleep, feeling dead
Wanting to wake up
Wanting to scream, when you can’t
A bleak word of deep fear
