With The Fire In My Eyes
I’m sitting in the woods
With wolves by my side
And fire in my eyes.
I look at the night sky
And watch the birds fly
With fire in my eyes.
I look put into a field
To watch the lions hunt
With the fire in my eyes.
As I sit there
I listen to the tree’s talk,
While the wolves howl,
And the lions growl,
With the fire in my eyes.
I have come to this place
To listen to the spirits of the wind,
The earth, and the animals.
To see what they do,
When the moon is at its highest in the sky,
With the fire in my eyes.
I lay down now,
With the wolves
to keep me warm
And the fire
no longer in my eyes.
