Someone Like Me
We're both children from the dark
We've escaped its grasp,
And the loneliness, we're past
The years have taken their toll
But you and I found light
And a common Soul
The future may be unknown
But you're no longer on your own
Because you'll always have me
We're no longer on our own
We both dream of a better world
Where no one's alone or depressed
No one's evil or obsessed
We just want to brighten lives
And spread love
Children, babies, husbands, and wives
Everyone of all ages
Will rise above
A sweeter hero, there could never be
I spread happiness and continue to inspire
As I praise god for Someone Like Me
