I hear the ticking of the clock that isn’t there. You heartless being, it is all I can think. It keeps sounding. Hitting me with every beat, your there and it will not go away.

Tick, and I see your face.

Tock, and I hear your words.

Tick, I see your smile.

Tock, I feel your touch.

Tick, I hear those words.

Tock, I replay it all again.

You are always there with me, beating with the clock that isn’t there.
