Little Flower
The little flower blooms in the dawn of spring;
Ready to cast its shadow on the world.
The pedals spread open wide,
Just as those of a person
Opening themselves up.
The stem grows taller,
As it reaches new height and potential.
The flower makes its place on the earth
Strong and simply its own,
Never to be discouraged by drops of rain.
