The rain drips down
Tears from the sky
Making patterns in the grass
Making rhythms with the stones
It seeps down
And spreads out
Curling spirals with the clouds
That unwillingly drift away
On the wind
And the sun peaks out
Shining love from the sky
Once again
Glowing bright
Through a halo of tears
Sending stripes of color
Over the sky
A rainbow after the storm
Every color radiant
Every color pure
Rays of hope bending
Bending over the rain soaked trees

I wrote this poem for my Grandmother on a day when it seemed like the rain would never stop.

I rate this poem 4 stars. I thought the poet expressed what she wanted to say in a beautiful and poetically sophisticated way.
