Luminance rests on the edge
A golden border
But the canvas is gray
Wind is the brush
Rain is the palate
Brushing strokes like tears down its mournful face
Split! -
Light rips the heart of the sky
Tears it to a jagged seam
A growl -
Ominous, never berating
Is the audible patch
Now its rising
Rising
And concrete fades to child's eye blue
