A wisp in the wind
chills my skin
as it flies free by my face.
I wish I could go
to the place I call home
but I can't find my way.
I struggle to see
but darkness surrounds me
as I crouch down in fear.
I wish you were here
to whisper in my ear
that everything will be OK.
I lie on the ground
my crying the only sound
please, will you save me?
