When it gets dark only then can you see the stars...<br /> If a million people believe in a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing.

The moon shines halfway through your face
As the stars change their formation above.
There is nothing left to live for and nothing to die from
And you protect your heart wearing a glove.

The cool breeze whispers secrets in your ear
As a shiver runs down your spine,
Your hands clutch the blade of grass,
As the seconds passing by, race against time.

You feel the wind in your nose
Taking life as it comes,
The river below is as quiet as a room with a switched off television,
While you’re pounding heart is louder than a shooting gun.

Candies held no meaning,
The Beatles never got you in a daze,
It was never late enough for you to sleep,
And new shoes, never your idea of a craze.

You went far away a point after,
When in truth you had never been there,
It’s like being a part of the same book,
But being the page with the only tear.

You were the side wheel of your perfect family,
The only plate with no matching bowl,
The only car with no headlights,
The only player who had not set a goal.

I apologise for not getting you then,
But I am proud of how after everything you still stood tall,
It was just that you believed in a different God,
Not none, at all.

There came a point, when you had to carry on,
Just so you could exist,
Living a life in your closed room,
Looking out of your window with a warm heart and not a fist.

Is ignorance a crime or bliss?
I know now that the answer is your lifeless body in my hands,
For you, I say a little prayer
And bid you goodbye with a goodbye kiss.
