My Tears
Though the rain drowns my tears,
I still wonder if anyone hears,
My own sad melody,
Dying in its own eternity,
Doth I have forgotten what I must do,
For I will never sing for you,
My songs dwell within my soul,
Where the light that once burned brightly,
Is now a faint memory,
I stand before you,
Asking why,
You do the things that make me cry,
I can no longer walk on my own,
I am further damaged beyond my unknown,
My time has been wasted with my struggling tries,
When whomever I love dies,
I hide the pain it brings me,
Even though you know very well how much it kills me,
I’m still here though,
The rain still drowns my tears,
And I know that no one hears,
But you.
