We lie in your room
Whispering secrets
When you mumble her name
"alexiz"
And fall to my chest weeping
Shaking with tears
As you choke out the story
Behind your tears I struggle to comprehend your words
As you shake harder and harder
When you finally calm yourself
Your eyes are bloodshot
Skin blotchy with red stains
But you look as beautiful as ever
All I mumble is she's your angel
And he replies with heartbreaking clarity
No, your my personal angel
And for the first time i've both heard the words
He chokes
I love you
