Hallucinations
Cold, hungry, in the middle of no where,
I collapse in the ground, looking up at the sky.
Cold, hungry, silent and still,
I see a faint star in the dark of the night.
Mystified and wondering, on my feet I stand,
Gazing at the beauty of the far away land.
Closer it comes, clearer and clearer,
A colourful land of beauty and lights.
Suddenly I’m in it,
The strange mystic land,
Made of chocolates and candies,
And sherbets and lollypops,
And bubblegum and caramels,
The mystical land of the star far away.
