what i've learned about him

at the restaurant, i learned that while he's not a good mini plastic sword fighter, he makes excellent conversation
at the play, i learned that he's good at improv
something i'm not
from the newspaper, i learned that he's a journalist
his article actually was about choir
one that i was in
and from facebook, i learned that he's in a relationship
there that hope goes
he is a freshman at a huge school
with all those fish in the pond,
why would he choose an eighth grader?
just keep hoping
i tell myself
