Another Him

He isn’t just another him
not to me he’s not
not just another whim
another guy forgot
He won’t be just a memory
that to the side is tossed
he’ll always be someone to me
even when all else is lost
He cannot be a failed conquest
lost to those other girls
who dress the best
and hide their lies, under perfectly formed curls
He couldn’t stay around
it’s very sad to say
I thought he’d be here forever
but he just went away
I may be another girl to him
but he will never be
a pointless whim
no never be, another him to me
