Wishing to Help
Wishing to help
Surrounded by friends
Talking and laughing
No need to hold back
She’s always happy
Almost never down
Happy, on a social high
Few things can pierce
Her armor
Her resolve
When one does
I hope I’m there
I hope I can help
When I’m with her
And she is sad
I am lost
It’s so wrong
She can’t be sad
She never is
I do my best
But it’s not enough
I can’t solve the problem
She needs real friends
Friends that can help
Friends that know how to care
I wish I knew
Because I do care
I just can’t express it
I don’t know how
Oh I wish I did
I wish I could
I had a chance
I really tried
But the circumstance weren’t right
She’s happy now
Its better, I think
Or at least she isn’t showing it
If she does
Then she wears a devils mask
