By the way, I remembered to forget you.
Wrapped in chains of disbelif
wrapped so tight I can barely breathe.
Laying in a bed of lies,
waiting for him to come up for air,
waiting for him to hear my cries.
The lines in my arms remember you,
selfish,heartless, charming you.
The little jagged scars tell the story of us,
about how I confused love,
with lust.
But I won't see that girl again,
the old me who fell to here knees.
So R.I.P. to the girl you used to see,
rest in peace, to the girl that wasn't me.
I finally remembered to forget you,
but not everything that you put me through.
And if we should ever meet again,
I know who Im not, because im finding who I am.
