Being a little girl
Playing with dolls
Until the nightlight went on
Whatever happened to
Living carefree
Holding hands with mom at the mall
Running all around the lawn
Whatever happened to
Being a first grader
Standing by the bus, feeling so small
Hesitant to leave, but urged on
I miss
Being young
Constantly protected
Adored by everyone
Daddy’s little girl
Mommy’s princess
If only life were still like 2001
Eager to learn
Excited to grow up
How times have changed…
