Lady Killer
Ragged jeans and buzz’n flees
As provocative as a high school tease
Bruises on your dusty knees
Talk words that sting like killer bees
Thud, thud, my heart pounds sore
You walk my way, it thuds some more
My eyes shut sudden like my locker door
Unlit fire in your eyes says “You're a bore”
My mouth runs away from me as you stop to talk
My knees crumble below me like powdery chalk
The princess behind you tries to casually block
But her moves go unnoticed like a ticking clock
Closer, closer, you taste like sweet molasses
Teachers walk by and peer out of their glasses
Closer, closer, you feel like a bed of roses
Students whiff your aroma and sigh in their noses
Your mouth opens settle and a tad bit to tall
I was either on the ground or ready to fall
The words you chime out sound better than sliced bread
Until I woke of my trance and realized what you had said
And no,
I won’t give you her number; I know it’s a bloody shame
And next time you confront me learn how to say my name

This is such a good poem. I always love a poem with a nice ending, and this is one of them :)
Mind looking at/commenting on anything of mine (even pics if you'd rather not read)?
