A Confession of Some Sorts
Bumbling thoughts and clumsy steps, it seems it’s been a year I’ve slept.
A single smile from you awakes, my heart, my soul, my little strength.
You grasp my hand, my heart gives in.
One sweet kiss, a thoughtless bliss.
It’s true, my wall is wearing thin.
It’s you I can’t shake from my thoughts;
It’s you that hold the key.
The key to what? To whom you say?
The key to silly old me.
Unlock the doors and cut the ties,
The ones of kisses, the kind of butterflies.
My one pure wish, hold me close.
No use in trying, my heart won’t slow.
I only want for you to see,
Truly just how much you mean.
