And his name was John
His name was John,
He lived his life,
With a smile.
Rarely ever frowned,
I wondered if it was possible,
If he was human.?
Even a beautiful smile,
Has a slight depression,
A slight frown.
This boy was....mesmerizing,
Always brung a smile to my face,
Never shall I say how I truly felt.
I watched that boy,
Watched when no one was looking,
I seen him.....could it be?
I seen him frown.?
He was always so happy,
Lovable(and oh how I did).
That I watched as he lay there,
In the road.
As tears rushed from my eyes,
He took his own life away,
Wasted a perfect inspirational smile,
Over an unknown aching pain,
That I watched occur.
If only I could have prevented it,
I should have been there,
But I ran,
From a boy I loved,
And his name was John.
