Collision
I lay so soundly caught in your stare
The silence of words and engaged in your taste
As I gasp for air
Tangled and twisted our bodies collide
Sending me with chills
Up and down my spine
Then we lay once again in each other’s embrace
And as I inch close to your chest
I can’t imagine a better place
And I whisper to you as you drift off into deep sleep
But I just pull up the covers
Blanketing your skin
Leaving you in this peace
Forgiving the past
And looking forward to the end
Because I can’t wait to lay with you again
